Spring Swing - Square Dance & Silent Auction

Our third annual "Spring Swing" Square Dance & Silent Auction fundraiser, organized by Board Member, Cres Van Keulen, was held on April 2, 2011 at the Strawberry Recreation Center in Mill Valley.  Our expert caller guided our novice square dancers through a fun-filled evening.  In between dances, guests bid on art, fine wines, dining, gift baskets, travel adventures and more!  


A Day at the Races

For the past 20 years, Nancy Smith, Cornerstone Board Member, has generously donated her time by organizing our successful annual "Day at the Races" fundraiser. This year's exciting event was held at the Golden Gate Fields Turf Club in Berkeley, California on June 5, 2011.  Attendees enjoyed a fun afternoon of horse racing and a sumptuous buffet.

Marin Human Race

The "Marin Human Race" is a wonderful collaborative fundraising event for Marin County's nonprofit organizations.  On Saturday, May 7, 2011, an enthusiastic group of our residents and staff members walked the 5K course around the Marin Center Lagoon to raise money for our organization. 


Join the Board of Directors

Meetings are held six times a year, generally on the third Tuesday of the month at Cornerstone's administrative office. The Board is responsible for governing the organization; participating in fundraising activities; supporting the agency by making an investment of personal experience, skills, and knowledge; and advocating for the developmentally disabled population.

Donate

We are grateful for monetary contributions, which help us provide quality care for our clients, training for employees, and maintenance for our homes. Cornerstone Community Homes, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible.

You may also help us through the donation of goods or services. Our residents would love to receive arts and crafts supplies, games, puzzles, videotapes, DVDs, or gift cards. We occasionally have a need for sturdy wood furniture such as end or coffee tables, nightstands, dressers or chairs (with no upholstery), and other household items in good, working condition.
