About Us

Cornerstone Community Homes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing outstanding residential services to adults who have autism and other developmental disabilities.

The organization was founded in 1984 as Exodus, Inc. by the parents of children with severe autism so that their children could grow and thrive in a home environment rather than in a state institution.

Today we have seven single-family group homes in suburban Marin County serving developmentally disabled adults who enjoy satisfying lives as active participants in the community.

Each resident receives a high level of staff support in daily living activities such as grooming and hygiene, communication and social skills, and participation in community activities.

An individualized plan is designed by a licensed clinician to help each resident reduce or eliminate problematic behaviors through the development of replacement skills and to help each resident attain other self-help goals.
