About Us

Cornerstone Community Homes was founded in 1984 as Exodus, Inc. by the parents of children with severe autism so that their children could grow and thrive in a home environment rather than in a state institution.

Today we have seven single-family group homes in suburban Marin County serving developmentally disabled adults from age 18 to 59 who lead full and rich lives.

Each resident receives a high level of staff support in daily living activities such as grooming and hygiene, communication and social skills, and participation in community activities.

An individualized plan is designed by a licensed clinician to help each resident reduce or eliminate problematic behaviors through the development of replacement skills and to help each resident attain other self-help goals.
